Imagine Toon is an animation studio based in Jamaica that delivers high quality animated commercials, explainer videos and public service announcements in a timely and efficient manner, and at an affordable cost.
WHY ANIMATION?
Animation is a very convenient and effective way to communicate with your customer, as it can convey complicated business concepts and marketing messages, in a fun and easy-to-understand format. Animation is helpful for financial organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, to name a few, to convey information that is not readily available to the average customer. Start-up companies use them to create a buzz about a new product or service. Animation can be an affordable option in comparison to live action commercials, as there is no need for heavy capital outlay to rent locations, hire camera men, actors, etc. The entire production is done in a virtual studio.

ANIMATED COMMERCIALS
We create animated commercial videos aimed at promoting your company’s products and services. The videos can be used in promotional campaigns on TV and social media. Our dedicated team will work closely with you to create videos that will effectively raise your company’s brand awareness, increase conversions, increase sales, or launch a product.
WHITEBOARD ANIMATION VIDEOS
A whiteboard video is an explainer video where successive images and text are hand-drawn and erased on a whiteboard. This format of video has become popular due to its ease of operation and low cost, making it one of the least expensive types of explainer videos to create.
SHORT FILMS
Are you a film maker with an amazing script? Then why not turn it into a short film! Short films are easier and less expensive to make than a full length feature film, and is a great way to launch your film career. The 
team can turn your imagination into reality, using animation! We will handle the storyboarding, character designs, background designs, animation, visual effects, sound engineering, editing and compositing at an affordable cost.
DIGITAL ILLUSTRATIONS
Our experienced team of Illustrators can create high quality illustrations for print and digital published media, such as books, posters, flyers, magazines, teaching materials, animations, video games and films. Digital illustrations are often used to make websites and apps more user-friendly, such as the use of emojis to accompany digital type.
LOGO DESIGN
Your company logo has a major impact on how your customers will perceive your brand. From defining your brand’s identity and understanding what makes a great logo, we will help you with making the right design choices and create a logo that stands out and effectively represents your brand.
Meet The Team
Robert Reid – Founder/Animator
Robert has been involved in the development of the Jamaican Animation Industry for the past nine years. He has managed numerous multifaceted initiatives to develop the local industry and has created a vast network of relationships enabling the assembly of the right mix of talent and services in a cost-effective manner to ensure that the productions are within budget and schedule, and exceed the clients’ expectations. Having worked as an animator at Alcyone Animation Studios, animation instructor at Heart NSTA TRUST and as animation specialist in the Office of the Prime Minister, Robert Reid has amassed experience with both government and corporate clients, in animation production, education, administration, communications, marketing and public relations.
George Hay – Storyboard Artist/Character Designer
George Hay’s work experience spans over 35 years as a professional cartoonist providing illustrations for leading advertising agencies in Jamaica as well as international clients. George is a honors graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Jamaica. He has won numerous accolades in character design and concept development at the KingstOOn Animation Festival. He continues to be one of Jamaica’s most sought after professional cartoonists, illustrator and graphic designer.
Marlo Scott – Background Designer/Character Designer
Marlo Scott is an Illustrator specializing in comic/cartoon illustration for storybooks, sequential art and animation. His credits include character and background design for Alcyone Animation’s Cabbie Chronicles animated series, as well as the childrens illustration book Magnus the Mangoose, and several animated television commercials (including “Ikat“), music videos, story books and educational materials for both private and public sector.
